The primary objective of the Global Citizen Center is to facilitate strategic, cross-sector, regional collaboration among the individuals and organizations addressing sustainability and social justice. The Center will achieve this objective through various programmatic initiatives and by developing a mixed-use facility that will house and support the work of a mission-aligned mix of tenants. The Center’s commitment to collaboration will be a guiding consideration in designing its programs and facilities.

The expected outcomes and success indicators associated with this objective are to:

• Increase the efficacy of the Center’s network of aligned organizations by fostering collaboration with other members, as measured by the number of collaborative initiatives undertaken by network members;
• Launch mission aligned organizations and businesses that advance the causes of sustainability and social justice, as indicated by the number of organizations launched or incubated by the Center;
• Increase the efficacy of the Center’s network of aligned organizations by increasing their public visibility through association with the Center, as indicated by periodic surveys, conducted by the Center, to track public awareness, and by increases in organizational membership and donations; and
• Increase the efficacy of the Center’s network of aligned organizations by providing them with a supportive infrastructure, such as a state-of-the-art Green building, as indicated by periodic performance/productivity surveys conducted by the Center.
