Kirsten Moller is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Global Exchange, a membership-based international human rights organization dedicated to promoting social, economic and environmental justice around the world. In her capacity as Executive Director, Ms. Moller is responsible for a staff of 48 and a budget of $7.5 million. Since its founding in 1988, Ms. Moller has been instrumental in growing the membership and programs of Global Exchange. She developed Global Exchange branches in Washington, DC, South Africa, Haiti, Honduras and Cuba, and oversees the organization’s political, civil rights, social and economic rights campaigns, the Fair Trade Program, Reality Tours, and the Public Education Program.
Ms. Moller is a lifelong activist whose work includes the organization
of a tri-national conference on Fast Track and NAFTA in 1991, work with
the Central America Labor Defense Fund from 1986-1990, development work
in Central America and Asia with CARE, and work on 10-15 local
campaigns and initiatives in California.
