Dan Leibsohn is the Financial Director of the Global Citizen Center. In this capacity, Mr. Leibsohn is responsible for all aspects of the Center's financial planning and the development of its financing strategies. Mr. Leibsohn is an experienced community development executive and an innovator in low-income real estate lending. He was President, Executive Director, and Founder of the Low Income Housing Fund (now Low Income Investment Fund), which currently has in excess of $100MM under management. Mr. Leibsohn currently maintains an active management role in Community Development Finance, a nonprofit financial and research organization.


As a result of his experience, Mr. Leibsohn sits on numerous boards. His present affiliations include the California Community Reinvestment Corporation, the Independent Press Association, the Calvert Foundation, the Chinatown CDC (San Francisco), and Skid Row Housing Trust and Property Management Company (Los Angeles). His previous affiliations include the National Association of Community Development Loan Funds (now NCCA), the Affordable Housing Advisory Council of the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, and Urban Loan and Grant Committee of the California Department of Housing and Community Development.

Mr. Leibsohn graduated from the University of Michigan with an undergraduate degree in Economics and received his Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University. He is a licensed real estate broker and an author of numerous published articles and reports.
