So, what is a Global Citizen?
 
A Global Citizen recognizes that we are all citizens of a Global Society, living together on this thing we call Earth.  As members of this global society we have a responsibility to respect our fellow citizens and our shared Earth.  A Global Citizen sees the Earth as something integral to our survival that must be safeguarded, not only for ourselves but for those coming after us. We believe that injustice and inequality must be opposed with determination and action.  Being a Global Citizen is a way of thinking but also a way of behaving: seeing the world and all living things as interconnected, and believing individual choices and actions can make a difference.
